There are many FDA approved fillers on the market that work well depending on which area of the face we are targeting. The products that we use are the hyaluronic acid based fillers which include Juvederm®, Voluma, Volbella, Restylane®, Lyft, Silk, and Belotero. Here at Hass Plastic Surgery we stay on top of the latest developments in the injectable arena in order to provide our patients with the newest and best options available. Whether it's temple hollows, mid-face volume loss, deeper facial folds, peri-oral lines or lips, our injectors provide each patient with a unique treatment plan to meet their overall aesthetic goals.
The use of Sculptra Aesthetic is another option that we provide to our patients who have more generalized or diffuse volume loss and are looking to address broad shallow areas. Sculptra is artfully injected to regenerate overall volume and overtime stimulate the patient's own collagen growth.
Each filler has unique properties that our injectors take into consideration when developing personalized treatment plans for our patients. We would love to see you at Hass Plastic Surgery for your complimentary filler consultation to determine which of our broad selection of filler options would get you to looking and feeling your very best.
What are my numbing options when getting fillers?
To prepare, we cover the treatment area(s) with topical numbing cream in order to enhance your comfort level. The injectable products are now also formulated with lidocaine for continual numbing throughout your procedure.
What are my risks?
The most common side effects are generally mild and consist of possible bruising, swelling and redness which may last up to two weeks after the injections.
How can I best prepare for a treatment?
We suggest our patients avoid aspirin, all vitamins, fish-oils and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory products for at least 10 -14 days prior to their treatment in order to minimize bruising. You will also want to avoid direct sun and extreme heat for several days following your injections. Additionally, we would like to know if you are prone to cold sores as you may want to consider pre-treatment with medication.
