What is Juvéderm?
Juvéderm is a gel formula that contains hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in your skin. By replenishing the hyaluronic acid, Juvéderm attracts moisture to the skin and underlying tissues to add hydration and volume.
What Is Juvéderm Volbella?
Lip augmentation is one of the “up and coming” cosmetic treatments. Men and women want to add fullness and correct lines, wrinkles, and poor definition. Volbella® is a hyaluronic acid facial filler that is specifically designed for lip enhancement.
What is Juvéderm Voluma?
Adding definition to your cheeks helps you look younger and gives you a radiant appearance. Voluma® is another product in the Juvéderm line that is formulated to augment the cheeks while maintaining natural contours. This treatment is an excellent alternative for men and women who do not want cheek implants.
What is Juvéderm Vollure?
Vollure® was developed to give men and women the most natural results possible when treating nasolabial folds. The hyaluronic acid gel spreads consistently and is long-lasting.
What Are the Benefits of Juvéderm?
- Non-surgical anti-aging benefits
- Formulated to treat specific signs of aging
- Long-lasting results
- No scarring
- Treatment takes less than one hour
How Should I Prepare for My Juvéderm Treatment?
Avoid taking medicines which interfere with clotting for two weeks prior to treatment. This includes: Aspirin, Advil, Motrin, Aleve, etc., as well as most vitamins and supplements such as fish oil, flax seed, ginseng, ginkgo biloba, Vitamin E, garlic pills, etc. Please discuss stopping any prescription blood thinners (Cumodin, Plavix, Xarelto, etc.) with your prescribing physician as well as with the providers at Hass Plastic Surgery prior to stopping them. Allow for several days of potential bruising and swelling in your social calendars.
What Should I Expect from My Juvéderm Treatments?
As an injectable cosmetic treatment, Restylane® is administered with a tiny needle. Several injections are made along the wrinkle to ensure a consistent and natural result. You can return to most normal activities right after the appointment. You may have some minor tenderness, bruising and swelling around the injection site. These symptoms should only last 24 to 48 hours. You can apply a cold compress to help with the symptoms, but you should not massage the area.
How Long Do the Results Last?
The results of your Juvéderm treatment may last up to nine months.
